THE WAIRARAPA SHOW.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir,— l notice in the report, published'id the Times this morning, from your own correspondent, containing an account of the -annual Agricultural and Pastoral Show, held at Tauherinakau yesterday, . when referring to 1 the exhibits of Cattle, that gentleman says, “ In the direction of the prizes -Mr. Hunter’s name ap-pears-frequently in the prize list. He contributed some of the most beautiful beasts in the pens devoted to cattle.” The,writer appears to have drawn somewhat largely on his imagination, and have paid very little attention to the’ exhibits or the prize lists, or he would have known that I only sent two bull calves to the show.—l am, &c'., ~ Georoe Hunter. Wellington, Ist Dec., 1876. •
