Arrived : The three-masted schooner, Panola. 120 days from New York, with [950 tons cargo, halt for Dunedin, and the remainder for Wellington, 1 LYTTELTON, Friday. ; Sailed : Eingarooma, for the South,, at 2 p.m. 1 ; Tni, for Kaikoura and Wellington ; Saxon, for Auckland. ■ The steamer Kiwi arrived here from the East Coast yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock. She has on board about 200 bales wool and a quantity of skins. She left Napier on Tuesday last at 9 a.m.; arrived at Pourere at 1 p.m.,that day; discharged cargo and took In ISO bales wool, : and- left at 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday ; arrived oft Castle Point and went in next morning,’ where she got 70 bales wool. Left again at noon, ' ‘‘ and called in at Tawaiti, where she-remained till 8 ' p.m. Fine weather favored her wool-gathering opera-.-lions along the coast. She had a strong N.W. breeze round Palliser, and at 10 o’clock yesterday morning ’ a fresh S. W. wind was met; which continued so until <> arrival here as before mentioned. Reports sighting a barque, which is supposed to be the" Inverness, with (’immigrants, bound for Napier. -The Kiwi will sail for Flaxboume to-day, and will return herein time 0 td leave again on Monday for the Coast, ..
