FRIDAY, 27th OCTOBER. SALE OF THE WELL-KNOWN AND SUBSTANTIALLY - BUILT SCHOONER HANNAH BARRATT. GEORGE THOMAS has been favored with instructions from Captain Renner (who is retiring from the sea), to sell by public auction— The schooner Hannah Earratt, built of iron bark and red gum, in New South Wales, in 1872. Is coppered and copper-fastened, and is exceedingly well found and all ready for sea. She carries 75 tons dead weight, or 40,000 ft, of timber, at a draft of 7ft. water. Her register tonnage is 57 tons measurement. Terms at sale, which will take place at the auctioneer’s rooms, Lambton-quay, at 2 o’clock. This is a fine opportunity for a man of moderate capital, as this vessel will last for 50 years, if kept off the rocks. SATURDAY, 4th NOVEMBER.
