Sperm candles are in demand for export to the; West Coast, and are nojv firm atiod. per lb. ' Adelaide flour, also light stocks, is worth £l6 to £l6 10s. per ton for best brands. Currants show signs of advancing on our;last quotations of old. per lb., stocks iu Australia being also below the usual average; and kerosene ( pdyauced to,2s. 9d.‘ pcr gallon, duty paid. Sugars are'oasier. The produce market shows no change on last week’s report, with the single (exception of flour, which has advanced to £l4 per ton for best brands of Canterbury and Oamaru mills. Keg butter is dull of sale at 4d. to Bd. for old. New.cure, if prime, is selling slowly at lOjd. to lid. per lb. Canterbury cheese is in fair supply at 9Jd. to 9Jd. per lb. Hams and bacon, full stocks, at Bd. to 9d. per lb. Oats move off slowly at 2s. 6d. per bushel for ordinary feeding'sorts. Prime milling oats are worth 2s. Bd. to 2s. 9d. per bushel. Fowls .feed scarce at 4s. 3d. Maize, in moderate inquiry at 4s. 3d. to 4s. 6d. per bushel: Potatoes, 90s. per ton.

' Mr.Bradshawreports:—Sales: Colonial Bank, £1125.; Bank of New Zealand, £lB 155.; National Insurance, £1 55.; Standard. 12s. ’Buyers : Colonial Bank, £1 Us.; Bank of New Zealand, £lB 155.; Standard. 12s, Wheat is without change, prime samples being still scarce and saleable up to 6s. 9d.; ordinary, 4s. 9d. to ss. 3d. Oats are freely enquired for; best feed samples, 2s 2d. and milling and prime seed, 2s. 3d. to 2s. 4d. Barley is still neglected, and quoted nominal.
