(REVIEWS SPECIAL ‘TO PRESS AGENCY.) Sydney, Tuesday. The steamer Bowen arrived- at Cooktown yesterday with three hundred and thirty Chinese and other passengers. On the voyage between Penang and Malacca some of the passengers and officers of the ship saw a sea serpent about two hundred and fifty feet long and fifty feet broad, with a square head and yellow stripes. The Bowen brings London dates to August 18.
