RIVER WAIOHINE CONSERVATORS.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir,—As a passenger by coach from the Wairarapa on the 23rd September to Wellington, I must state that there must be some want of foresight of the Board of , Conservators on the river Waiohine, haying.to be taken back to Carterton, and there, wait until news arrived from Greytown. No thanks to the Board, but we must thank Mr. R. J., Greening for his skill in taking us to Wellington safe without the assistance of the train.—l am, &0., A Passenger. Wellington, September 25.
