Every person who intends to parade his horse must enter the same at the office of the Association, Hereford-street and Oxford-ter-race, before 4 o’clock on THURSDAY, the 28th INST. A card will be delivered to the person making entry with a conspicuous number thereon, which is -to be attached on the off-side of horse, either on the roller or on the bridle. Owners of horses will be subject to whatever regulations the committee find necessary to make. Entrance fee for each horse ss. Coleman. Treasurer—W. Routledgo. Secretary—J. Bennett GENERAL REGULATIONS. 1. The competition will be open to all stock, provided the exhibitor be a member of the Society. Qualification, two guineas.) 2., Members exibit free (except in the Champion classes) if their subscriptions for the current year, and all arrears, are paid up. Non-members can exhibit carriage and hack horses on payment of 10s 6d ; and 2s 6d will qualify to exhibit farm produce, pigs/ implements, Kc., &c. 3. All entries must be made with the Secretary, or forwarded to the office of Mr. M. R. Miller, Napier. For stock, not later, thqn the 12th day of October next; for produce, &c., by the 16th. 4. No competitor will be allowed to show more than three lots of sheep in any one class, and it shall not be competent to enter any stock in more than one class except in the Champion classes. 5. AU stock exhibited shall be bona fide the property of the exhibitor or his principal. C. Farm produce and implements, &c., must bo on the ground by 4 o’clock on Thursday, 19th day of October. 7. Sheep must be on the ground by 11 o’clock on Thursday, the 19th day of October, in order that they may be judged. 8. Cattle, horses, pigs, and poultry must be on the ground by 9 o’clock on Friday, 20th day of October. 9. A ticket or order will be delivered by the Secretary on or before the day of the Show to the persons in charge of each lot for its being received into the showyards, and no stock whatever can bo allowed to enter without such an order. 10. The competing stock will bo classed and distinguished by tickets or numbers to be affixed to each lot immediately after they are placed iuthe showyards. = 11. Stewards nominated by ,the Committee will accompany the Judges to prevent interference during the examination of the stock. 12. Stock which cannot be shown in any competing class may be exhibited as extra stock. 13. Any ammal .eligible.to .be shown for a class premium cannot be shown as extra Jstock. ■ 14. Horses must bo haltered and led, and on no account be removed from their allotted stands with- , out permission of the Stewards. 15. For horned cattle, one man to bo in attendance I with each lot. IC, Servants in charge of stock admitted free, and . subject to the orders of the Stewards. | 17. No stock or implements to be removed from the ; yards until after 4 o’clock p.m. on the last day of • the Show without a special order from the Committee., , 18. The Committee will not under any circum- \ stances hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or misdelivery of stock or implements exhibited at , the Show. 19. No horses except those entered for exhibition i will bo allowed on the ground on any pretence what- ; j 20. Horses intended to bo entered for the leaping Iprizcs will bo admitted to the yards at 2.30 p.m. 21. After examining the stock, &c., and deciding on its merits, the Judges shall sign and give in their ■’reports to the Commit tee, and their awards shall be :final—provided no valid objection is made to the prize animals’ right to compete in their, respective classes. ! 22. All protests must be made in writing, and left ’with the' Committe within one hour of the prize tickets being atlixed' to the. exhibits, and the Committee 1 \till decide the same as soon as practicable. ■ t Gates opon.to the public after 11 a.m. on Thursday, 19th October.
