(PEB PRESS AGENCY.) Grahamstown, Monday. Another find of importance is reported from Owharoa, Ohinemuri district. Mr. James Maekay proceeded to Ohinemuri on Saturday on land purchase business. As it is understood that the purchase of the block by the Government will soon be completed, this attempt will materially obstruct the completion of the purchase and opening of land for settlement. The whole transaction is said to be a nefarious and mischievous effort of selfish Europeans, and if persevered in will seriously affect the welfare of the district,, and raise complications which will take a long time to overcome.
