DUNCAN begs to state that, in consequence of negotiations a private sale of this valuable plant not having been concluded, he has now received peremptory instructions to sell positively by public auction, on Wednesday, 6th September, at Messrs. MB. B. J. DUNCAN has received instructions from Mr. H. E. Tonks to sell by public auction, unless previously sold by private contract, on Wednesday, 6th September, at his salerooms, at 2 o’clock, the following leasehold property, having eighteen years to run, namely— The premises well known as the Wellington Steam Mills, in Mannersstreet, containing the undermentioned machinery, viz.— 3 improved cow and meal crushers 1 very large chaff-cutter, No. 1 buncle 1 bone mill 1 circular saw, bench and fittings, shafting, belts, &c., &c. 18-horse power engine 115 do Cornish boiler, quite new The premises - include large coal and wood yards, with two-stall stable, dwellinghouse ' consisting of five rooms, fowlhouse, and all necessary outbuildings. Pownceby to sell by public auction, at his rooms, Lambtonquay, on Thursday, 14th September, at 10 o’clock, unless previously disposed of— The lease and goodwill of a fruiterer’s shop and dwelling-house in Willisstreet, at present in the occupation of Mr. J. Pownceby, and next door to Mr. Cohen’s jeweller’s shop. The lease has two and a half years to run, and is let at the very low rental of £2 per week.
