Public Notices rj3OWN OF OAMARU, OTAGO, NEW ZEALAND. CORPORATION DEBENTURES FOB SALE BY PUBLIC TENDER. TENDERS will be received at the Council Chambers, Oamaru, on or before the Ist day of OCTOBER, 1876, for the whole or any portion of £7500 (seven thousand five hundred pounds) value of Corporation Debentures. The Debentures are issuable under the authority and provisions of the Oamaru Gasworks Act, 1875, and bear interest at the rate of seven pounds per centum per annum, payable half-yearly, at the option of any purchaser in either London, Melbourne, Dunedin, or Oamaru. The Debentures are for £IOO each, or such higher amount as may be arranged with any purchaser, and will be redeemable in the year 1886. The highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
