TENDERS will be received at the Council Chambers, Oamaru, on or before the Ist day of OCTOBER, 1876, for the whole or any portion of £7500 (seven thousand five hundred pounds) value of Corporation Debentures. The Debentures are issuable under the authority and provisions of the Oamaru Gasworks Act, 1875, and bear interest at the rate of seven pounds per centum per annum, payable half-yearly, at the option of any purchaser in either London, Melbourne, Dunedin, or Oamaru.
