N.E. weather for remainder of month, and flno except on last two days, whon it was wet and unpleasant. On the wholo, showery and cold during the month; sharp frosts in early part. Maximum temperature in shade, 58"; minimum 34': On the 19th at 4.15 a.m. an earthquake was felt, sharp a first, laating about 3 or 4 sees.,' followed by a trerabiin-y which lasted 'about 1 minute- nolsohoard before th 0 shotk. ■• '' _ : _ E.
