Id. SY TELEGItAPH. DUNEDIN, Saturday. Wheat has been in good request, and stocks in first hands are almost nil. Quotations are, nominally, for prime Northern, 4s. 9d. to 65.; good ordinary, 4s. Sd. to 4s. 7d.; inferior, 3s. lOd. to 4s. 2d. Oats have been largely enquired for at Is. lOd. to Is. lid. for good to fine feed, and 2s. to 2s. Id. for middling. Best seed samples of barley are a drug on the market, only best malting qualities meeting with demand at ss. 6d. to ss. 9d. Land_ in allotments at Selwyn, four miles from city, at auction to-day brought at the rate of £4OO per acre.
