Colonial produce has been marked by the same degree of dullness. Keg butter remains at Is 2d. to is 3d. per lb. for prime samples, with but little coming forward; old stock is difficult to quit at Bd. to 9d per lb. Cheese is in fair supply, prime Canterbury being worth lOd. to lOJcl. per lb. Bacon and hams have gone down in price, and Southern cure cannot be quoted higher than 9d. to lOd. per lb. ; cloth packed beln* Id. per lb higher. Oats met with the ordinary demand, with little or no variation in price. Light feeding sorts are worth 2s, 2d. to 2s. 4d. per bushel, prime milling oats 2s. 6d, to 2s. Bd. Stocks ample. Wheat for fowls feed is worth 4s, 3d. to 4s. od.; milling ditto, ss. 3d.. Stocks light. Maize from the North is worth 4s. 10jd. to ss. per bushel, but as the new crop is now coming in, the price is likely to go down. Flour continues at last week’s rates of £lllss. to £l2 ss. for Canterbury mills; £l2 to £l2 10s. tor Oamaru mills, in bakers lots. Stocks in importers hands moderate.
