The City Council of Auckland are prepared to receive tenders until NOON of WEDNESDAY, the 16th of AUGUST, 1876, for the LEASE FOE SEVEN OR FOURTEEN YEARS OP THE WESTERN SPRINGS ESTATE, &c., &c.. Comprising— THREE-STORY SCORIA-BUILT MILL, with two Stone-built Cemented Laborer’s Cottages, attached ; also, two large Galvanised Iron Stores, well floored, each (18) eighteen feet broad by (SO) feet long; also one (28) twenty-eight feet broad by (68) sixtyeight feet long. Boats of (20) twenty tons, drawing (4 J) four and a halt feet, can load at mill door. Mill contains one Steam Engine, with boiler complete; two Water-wheels, with wheat elevators attached, and all necessary fittings complete as per schedule. Also, Brick, two-storied, substantial and wellbuilt FAMILY RESIDENCE, containing twelve well-finished rooms; kitchen, with Leamington range ; bells hung,; good supply of purej water; large verandah, milk-room, cart-shed, well-bpilt ten-stalled stable, hay-loft, coachThouse, enclosed cow-sheds, washhouses, piggeries, pigeon-cot, and wellstocked fruit orchard and garden. The Mill and Outbuildings are well adapted for any milling or manufacturing purposes, being only about two miles from the city by a good road, and five miles by water.
