The process is simple, and economical as regards time and money. Anything mitten upon papyrographic paper, with papyrographic ink, may, with an ordinary copying press, be easily and rapidly reproduced to the extent of several hundred copies. The Papyrograph is in use in all the English Government departments, and has been adopted by the Victorian Government for the Post, Telegraph, Volunteer, Lands, Customs, Bailways, Education, Police, Public Works, Crown Law, Titles Begistration, Eeformatory, and other public offices. It is employed in several of the.banks and insurance offices, by the Shire and Borough Councils, and in many mercantile establishments. To merchants, schoolmasters, secretaries of publioiustitutions, bankers, actuaries, musicians, agents, brokers, accountants, municipal institutions, persons travelling'by sea (for amateur journalism), and all who require to multiply manuscript, the Papyrograph is of great value. The possessor of one of these instruments may write a circular at a distance from his place of business, and send it through the post to his office to be multiplied. Where much copying is required, a boy with the Papyrograph will turn out as much work ,as several clerks would ordinarily execute. Sketches in pen and ink, equal to fine woodcuts, are produced in Papyrography. Music may be multiplied by this process. The Papyrograph is in use by,the Metropolitan Liedertafel; and at the Volunteer department the. regimental calls are printed by it. - It is used for the production of school examination papers, &o.
