PROCLAMATION. Australians of British descent, loyal Britons, read this! Thinking men and women will perceive that sectarian jealousies have so far divided the public intoseveral religious and political sections, comprising many thousands of good Christian patriots, and each section is jealous of the other; that united action of the whole community, in loyal, national, demonstrations of joy, or of necessity, are impracticable now in this country. To enable men to meet, and iu their meetings to forbid allusion to past or present religious discords, to extinguish these jealousies in a common patriotism, to form an order of loyal British men, to move only in the support of our “ Home and Colonial Constitutional Government of Great Britain," and to - affect the consolidation of tho British Empire all over the world !
