The Customs revenue collected at the port of Wellington yesterday was as follows:

Last week, being race week, not business has been done in the import trade, in addition to winch the exceptionally bad weather that has prevailed has contributed materially to lessen the amount that might otherwise have been done. In the produce market, butter is unaltered in value and meets with litle enquiry; cheese scarce and wortn lid. per lb.: bacon and hams in active demand at Is. 2d. to Is. 4d. per lb., the supply being much below our requirements. Fiour is steady at last weeks value. Oats dull at 2s. 9d. per bushel for ordinary feeding sorts, and Ss. to 3s. Id. for milling oats, stocks heavy; maize in fair supply at 4s. 9d. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, Friday. Mr -Uexander Saunders ’reports:—Sales; Bank of New’Zealand, 8325. Cd,; Cure, 9s. 6d. Buyers: National Bank, 725.; South British, 50s. 6d.; National Insurance, 225.; Cure, 95.; Tokatea, 125.; Royal Oak, Gs. Gd. Sellers: Colonial Bank, 31s, 6d.; Caledonian, 655,; Bismarck, 10s. Buckland reports fat sheep, full numbers, free sale at late value: fat cattle 275. 6d. to 325. Gd. per XOOlbs., lambs Is. higher than last week. Binney reports Christchurch flour 11s., Dunedin 11s., Oamaru 11s-10d., bran 4s. 10d., pollard 65,, oatmeal 155., pearl barley 245., wheat 4s. 3d., barley 45,, oats 2s, 9d.; malt Ss., hops (Californian) ,Is. 9d.. maize (Fiji) 45., cheese 10id., hams and bacon Is. Business of all kinds miserably dull, impossible to effet sales in anything like lines.
