"WooL —Since onr last week’s report, the market has not been qnlte so firm, and telegraphic advices of the opening of the London November sales are * now- anxiously looked for. We held onr usual weekly sale on Monday last, when we submitted a catalogue comprising 1020 bales, some of the lots, however, we to withdraw, as the prices offered did not come up to the owners' ideas of value. Our next sale will beheld on Monday the 29th inst. Sheepskins.—We have held our usual sales, and have disposed of a large supply of both green and dry skins. Prices, however, have not improved, and remain at about last week’s rates. Our sales have been, for butcher’s green skins, 3s. to 65.; pelts, 6d. to la, 9d.: dry skins, 3s. to 3s. 6d. each; and station skins, Sd. to 6jd per lb. Hides.—We have no alteration to note in the market: the supply is small, which keeps prices firm; and we have sold green ox at 235. to 335.: cow, 15s. to 225. each; Victorian wet salted, 4M, to 5d.: New Zealand, Sd. to 5Jd: and calfskins, 51 d. to 6d. per lb. Tallow.—The market has still further declined since our last report, and we quote as follows, via.: — Inferior, £26 to £2B; mixed, £29 to £32; beef, £3O to £32 ; and mutton, £35 to £36 per ton. Leather.—At our sale on Tuesday we sold a large ■ supply: prices, however, still continue low for all"descriptions. We sold crop at lOd. to lid.; kip, 16d. to 21 d.; calf, 2s. to 3s. 6d.; runners. Is. 9d to 2s 2d.; waxed kangaroo. 2s. to 2s. 3d.; brown kangaroo. Is. lOd. to 2s. 2d.; wallaby, 2s. 3d. to 2s. 6d.; and harness, 12Jd to 13Jd. per lb.: and basils, 3s. to 14s. per dozen. Kangaroo Skins.—We have sold at from 7d. to 13d. P^Eark.— We have sold bundled at £4 10s., and ground at £7 per ton. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, Wednesday.
