The Patentee begs respectfully to draw the attention of the public of Victoria to the great advantages those Ovens have over any other ceoking apparatus at present in use. Ist. The price is about the same as a common colonial oven of the same size, being about one-third the price of a gas stove, and one-fifth the price of a ten guinea range, and is perfectly self acting, requiring ho dampers or other complications. : 2nd. Its capabilities are double those of the largest gas stove, and fully equal to those of a twenty guinea range,.without the disagreeable smell of the one, or the soot and ashes of the other. , . 3rd. It is the only cooking oven or stove in use that gives three distinct heating surfaces with one fire only, and also giyes a supply of boiling water equal to* ten gallons, saving fully 50 per cent, of the fuel used by ordinary ovens. j The. Patent Oven, with boilers attached, is warranted to roast, bake, or boil as much as it will hold, and give ten gallons of boiling water at a cost of fuel not exceeding, one penny. The Patentee having a thorough knowledge of the application of heat for cooking purposes, hereby publicly challenges any kitchen range, gas stove or colonial oven to do the same amount of cooking as liis Patent Oven, even with double the quantity of fuel.—(See. reports in Melbourne papers of October 25.) NEW PATENT GAS LIGHT CONTROLLKR AND IMPROVER, i The undersigned is bringing out an INSTRUMENT that will -LESSEN the CONSUMPTION and IMPROVE THE QUALITY of GAS in all large establishments where a number of burners is used.
