Ist. The price is about the same as a common colonial oven of the same size, being about one-third the. price of a gas stove, and one-fifth the price of a ten guinea range, and is perfectly self acting, requiring no dampers or other complications. 2nd. Its capabilities are double those of the largest gas stove, and fully equal to those of a twenty guinea range, without the disagreeable j smell of the one, or the soot and ashes of. the other. . ‘ 3rd. It is the only cooking oven or stove in use that givesthree distinct heating surfaces with one fire only, and alsogiyes a supply of boiling Water equal to ten gallons, saving fully 50jper cent, of the fuel used by ordinary ovens. 1 The Patent Oven, with boilers attached, is warranted to roast, bake, or boil as much as it ■will hold, and give ten gallons of boiling ■water at a cost of fuel not exceeding one penny. The Patentee having a thorough knowledge of the application of heat for cooking purposes, hereby publicly challenges any kitchen range,; gas stove or colonial oven to do the same amount of cooking as his Patent Oven, even with double the quantity of fuel—(See reports inj Melbourne papers of October 25.)
