The undersigned is bringing out an INSTEUMENT that will LESSEN the CONSUMPTION and IMPKOVE THE QUALITY of GAS in all large establishments where a number of burners is used. The instrument is fixed between the meter and the first light, and will so control the supply, without interfering with the taps or meter, that all waste arising from carelessness will he obviated, and the annoyance that so frequently occurs from water lodging in the pipes will be effectually prevented.
