TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir,—Will you allow me to correct a very grave misstatement in the letter signed “ Toleration ?" The writer says: “ Christ himself refused to forbid those who were casting out devils in another name than his.’* On referring to the Gospel according to Mark, chap. 9v. SS, and Luke, chap. 9v. 49,1 find that the one casting out devils was doing so In the naine of Jesus, and was forbidden by the disciples “because he followeth not us,” or “ with us:”—l am. &c., ffx. Jno. Gandv.
