In addition to the vessels of heavy burthen, the Rodney, Teviotdale, Dilawur and Halcione, there were some half-a-dozen coasting steamers, besides coasters, loading and discharging cargo. However, by tbe close of the day, through the persistent efforts of our dray and express men, the multifarious items of merchandise were cleared off the wharves and conveyed to the respective ware houses. The ship Rodney will probably have discharged all her cargo by the end of this week. As she has already a large quantity of original cargo for Melbourne, she will sail direct for that port as soon as she has made up her loading. Intending visitors to Melbourne will no doubt be glad of the chance of taking a passage by this fast sailing clipper ship, whose cabin accommodation, it may added, is unrivalled. Aa may be noticed in another part of this journal, he ketch Falcon, Captain Fisk, will convey the Blenheim mails. She leaves to-day for that port. The brig Neptune. Captain R. Croll, left Newcastle cn Sunday, September 5. Experienced N.E. winds to Mana Island, and S.E. through the Strait. The s.s. Egmont, Captain Irvine, left Palea at 5.30 p.m. on the 12th, and arrived in harbor at 9.30 a.m on the 13th.
