Properties for Sale VALUABLE ESTATE AT WAIROA, Province of Hawkes Bay, To be sold by Public Auction, at Napier on October 12, FOR SALE IN BLOCKS OF 200 ACRES AND UPWARD. The undersigned has received instructions from the owner of the Pakowhai Estate to sell his remaining property at Wairoa, known as the Te Kapu Estate, containing 4800 acres or thereby. It is situated about four-and-a-half miles from the port or township of Clyde, Wairoa. From Te Kapu, or Frasertown, the estate follows, and is hounded on the west by, the Wairoa River for about five miles, lying immediately opposite the Pakowhai Estate ; from the delta of Frasertown it is bounded on the north-east by the Kaukauroa or Scamperdown Creek. The character of the country is very rich soil on generally limestone hills, or clay subsoil on pappa rock, and small clumps of serviceable bush; on the Wairoa River especially, all the way up to the township of Muramura, there are very rich bends—flats of some hundreds of acres in extent, fit for agricultural purposes at once. The very small portion already cultivated gave eighty bushels excellent wheat per acre. The hills take surface sowing well. This property is now carrying over 4000 sheep. The sections originally surveyed by Government were forty acres and upward, but these lota will he sold without stock in farms ef 200 acres and upward. Price very moderate, and part of purchase money can remain on mortgage at 7 per cent. For further particulars apply to M. R. MILLER, Stock and Station Agent, Napier. pAKOWHAI ESTATE. VALUABLE FREEHOLD BLOCK FOR SALE IN THE PROVINCE OF HAWKE’S BAY. A 5500 aere Freehold, Rich, Agricultural, and Pastoral Land. Situated on the Wairoa River, 4 miles from the township of Clyde. Together with 10,000 to 12,000 SHEEP. To go with the property. This estate being of a triangular form, is nearly naturally fenced, being hounded on two sides by two large rivers (the Wairoa and the Wairau.) It has the advantage of being the frontage and the key to a considerable block of land, about 25,000 acres, hold by the Crown, which could be either bought or leased. The Napier steamers ply up the Wairoa River to within half a mile of woolshed. Ample supply of timber for station purposes on the freehold. The country is highly improvable, and surface-sown grasses grow luxuriantly ; by expenditure in this direction tho estate would carry 5 to 6 sheep to the aero. This is a rare opportunity for investment, as the owner instructs to sell promptly, from his principal property being at the other end of the province. To effect prompt sale the price has been made extremely moderate, and a considerable part of the purchase money can remain on mortgage at current rates. For further particulars apply by telegram or post to M. B. MILLER, Stock and Station Agent, Napier.
