BOARD OF EDUCATION.
A meeting of the Board was held yesterday morning at the Education chambers, to consider the rating' for the year. A number of appeals had been sent in, and the following amendments were made :
A letter from the Secretary, asking for an increase of salary, was referred to the new Board, with a recommendation for its favorable consideration. The Board then adjourned.
