Stonnbird, Captain Doile, left Wellington at 5.30 on the 30th, and crossed the Wanganui bar at 7.45 a.m. on the Slst; discharged, and left again for Wellington at 10.40 a.m., arriving at 10.30 last even- • ing. Strong westerly winds prevailed throughout the passage.
