PASTORAL LEASES.
The sessional return of the area of lands held under depasturing and other leases (exelusi've of goldmining) and the rents, &c. paid, shows the following results up to December 31st, 1874. We shall divide the return into provincial districts. Thus:—
The. total area held under minoral and other leases, excluding goldmining leases, was 8796 acres ; the rent paid, £1624 19s. 3d., together with £24 18s. royalty. _^_____^^__^^_
