Benqe.—At his residence, Taita, James Samuel, infant son of Samuel Benge. Aged 4 months. Henderson.—On the Bth of August, at the Terrace, James, infant son of John Ilenderson, C.E. Samson.-On the 9th instant, at Maclaggan-street, Dunedin, William Crawford Samson. Aged 79 Cook.—On 3rd July, at Liverpool, New South 'Wales, Robert Hanns Cook, native of Warwickshire, England, aged 64, leaving a widow and nine children. (Home papers please copy.) Tavekner.—On the 14th August, at his residence, Lower Hutt, Mr. James Taverner. Aged 76. Livehtox.— On the 17th August, at Wellington, Mr. John Longman Liverton, aged 59 years. Holmes.—On the 18th August, at Frederick-street (off Tory-street), John Thomas, the beloved son of John and Ann Holmes, late of Itochdalc, Lancashire, England. Dunedin and Home papers please Cooper.— On the 17th August, at the residence of her parents, Manners-street, Eosa Emily, second daughter of Mr. F. Gooper. Aged 9 years and 4 months. Dunedin and Invercargill papers please Manonuson.—On the 20th August, at Parliamentstreet Wellington, Elizabeth Mangnuson. Aged thirty-nine. Glasgow and Aberdeen papers please McDonald.—On the 21st of August, Amelia Jessie, youngest daughter of the late A. C. McDonald. AVilhams.—On the 24th August, ai Masterton, Robert John, only son of Mr. E. G-. Williams. Aged 1 year and, 3 months.
