Notice is hereby given that an Election of a Councillor for the above Ward will take place at the Polling Booth next Royal Hotel, Lamb-ton-quay, on THURSDAY, the ninth day of SEPTEMBER next. All candidates at such Election must be inated before Wednesday, the first day of September next, at the Polling Booth, next Royal Hotel, Lambton-qiray. Any person desirous of nominating a candidate must, before four o'clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, the 31st instant, deliver to the Returning Officer a Nomination Paper in the prescribed form, which must be signed by not less than -three persons duly qualified to vote al such election, and also by the person named therein as a candidate, in token of his assent to being so named.
