TO THE EDITOU OF TUB NKW ZEALAND TIMES. Sin,—Tho City Councils of the other provinces have expressed their public opinions, by resolution, on tho great question now before tho House of Representatives. It is very advisable that tho Mayor of this city should immediately convene a special mooting of the City Council, to enable tho Council to give expression of opinion upon the measures now before Parliament so materially affecting tho interests of tho ratepayers.—l am, &c., 4 |A.
