RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Friday, August 13. (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., E.M.,) threatening language. Samuel Parkes was charged, on the information of Henry Shoebridge, with the above offence. It was proved that the plaintiff had laid an information against the defendant under the Impounding Act, and that the threatening language complained of was used by the de° fendant to the plaintiff immediately on leavin" court after the judgment in that case. ° The Bench bound over the .defendant to keep the peace for six months, in £2O, and to pay costs of court. CIVIL CASES. There were five civil cases, one in which the amount claimed was paid into court, the remaining cases were adjourned for a week.
