WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office, up to NOON on WEDNESDAY, Bth SEPTEMBER, 1575, for the completion of all the unfinished work on the above contract. TENDERS will be received (either separately or for the whole) up to NOON of SATURDAY, the 14th inst., for the supply and delivery of the following materials for the construction of groins:— 450 birch logs, 30ft. long, Sin. mean diameter 1000 cubic yards of boulders, not less than Sin. diameter 700 Manuka fascines, 12ft. long, Ift. Sin. in diameter. One-half to bo delivered between Silver Stream and Lower Gorge, the other half on river bank, Lower Hutt (not through tollgate).
