IS A MIRACLE OPPOSED TO REASON?
TO TILE EDITOR OF TUB NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir,— Anticipating some such arrogant evasion as appears to-day from the Bishop, I took care to quote his words at length. Any candid reader will, therefore, bo able, independent of his dictation, to judge for himself whether the pitiful juggling with the words “necessary" and “reason" lias been fairly interpreted and criticised by.me. Such a reader can also decide for himself where the “man of straw” really is to be found, whether in the Bishop's pamphott or in my imagination.—l am, &c., ZEionETiran. Wellington, August i.
