VENNELL has received instructions from Mr. Francis Sidey, who is removing from his office, Central Chambers, over the Evening Post, to sell by public auction, on Monday, 2nd August, at 11 o'clock— Office furniture, consisting of chairs, tables, copying press, pigeon holes, inkstands, clocks ; two valuable oil paintings (these were offered by art union, valued 250 guineas) ; homcepathic medical chest. Also— Bottled ale, tierces port and sherry, saddles, sponges, iron, black wrapping paper, sundry drapery. About 300 volumes books, consisting of classical, legal, and mercantile works ; Greek and English lexicon, Encyclopaedia Britannica, 26 vols., complete, in Russian leather ; Gibbon's Roman Empire, Chambers' works, illustrated novels, romances, &c, &c. This fine herd, which was 'cbminenced by the present owner 34 years ago, comprised cows and bulls of the purest strain of blood then obtainable, and the standard of excellence having been maintained and improved by regular and systematic additions of the finest specimens of both sexes procurable in Great Britain, is unsurpassed in the Southern Hemisphere for purity of blood, size, symmetry, and strength of constitution.
