The Hawea arrived last night, after a splendid run of C hours 25 minutes from Picton wharf to Lighthouse. - LYTTELTON, Sunday. Arrived ; Yesterday, the Albion, from the North; Taranaki, from the South. . Sailed : - Albion, for the South; Taranaki, for the North. Passengers—Fakir of Ooln and party, Messrs. Dimean, McFarlane, Masters, Tombes, Mable, and Boyd. POET GHALMEES, Sunday. Arrived ; s.s. Albion, from Lyttelton; Dunedin, ship; 1250 tons, Whitson, from Auckland, June 2L Sailed; s.s. Taranaki, for the North; three-masted schooner Melaine, for Wellington. THE BLUFF, Saturday. Arrived: Tararua, from Melbourne. Passenger— Mr. J. Davis. She brings a few tons of cargo. HOKITIKA, Saturday. Sailed : Zephyr, for Lyttelton, with 80,000 feet timber ; and the Mary Campbell, for Melbourne, with 30,000 feet timber; the Bencleuch, for Oamaru;Garibaldi, for Westport. 4 The Otago shipped from Westland 4653 ozs. of gold. The s.s. Go-Ahead sailed for Wanganui on Saturday afternoon with a full general cargo. The Luna arrived from Wanganui on Saturday, bringing several passengers. The Luna will go on the slip this morning, for the purpose of having her hull cleaned and painted. She will also receive two new funnels in lieu of the present ones, which are worn out. The p.s. Manawatu, Captain Evans, left Wanganui at 8 a.m. on. the 2nd, and arrived at Wellington at noon on Saturday, after being anchored under Kapiti for eleven hours. Experienced S.E. winds and sea during the passage. The s.s. Stormbird arrived from Wanganui yesterday morning, and reports having had fine weather throughout die passage. The s.s. Napier arrived from Foxton yesterday morning. Captain Butt reports passing the steamers Egmont and Go-Ahead. * The s.s. Eangafcira left Napier at 1.30 p.m. on the 3rd, and arrived at the Queen's wharf at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. Experienced light variable winds, with smooth sea, until arrival. The schooner Enterprise was lying under the Kidnappers when the Eangatira passed her. Captain Campbell wishes to be reported all welL The three-masted schooner Mera, and the topsail schooners Flying Cloud and Canterbury arrived from Lyttelton yesterday afternoon. Owing to the blinding rain and heavy sea it was impossible for those on shore to communicate with them. The barque Harriet Armitage’s original destination was Newcastle, but she has been chartered by Mr. Martin, of Dunedin, to proceed to the Kaipara and load with timber for Dunedin. The ketch Falcon cleared out for Wairau on Saturday, with a general cargo. The s.s. Ino, which sailed on Saturday for Nelson, took a cargo of railway iron.
