TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW’ ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —Allow me space to deny Mr. C. K. Jeffs’s assertions as to the incorrectness of the report of the ratepayers* meeting, published in the Times on Saturday. I do not know what Mr. Jeffs may have intended to say on that occasion, and this ignorance may have been shared in by the speaker himself ; but this I do know’, that my report was accurate as to what lie did say.—l am, &c., Your Reporter.
