WRECK OF THE WILLIAM AND MARY.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sin,—l cannot return to my home without returning my sincere thanks to Captain Renner who took me off the wreck of the William and Mary. His kindness to me was unbounded while on board his ship, and afterwards he was the means of collecting sufficient funds to carry me to my home. I also return my sincere thanks to Captain Butt and all those that kindly subscribed their donations.—l am, fie, James Stevens, Master of the late "William and Mary.
