NOTICE is hereby given that an election of a Councillor for the above-mentioned Ward will take place at the polling-booth, next Royal Hotel, Larabton-quay, on ERIDAY, the 18th Inst. All candidates at such election must be nominated before Friday, tlie 11th inst, at the polling-booth, next Royal Hotel, Lambtonquay. Any person desirous of nominating a candidate must, before 4 o’clock in the afternoon of Thursday, the 10th inst., deliver to the Returning Officer a nomination paper in the prescribed form, which must be signed by not less than three persons duly qualified to vot-e at such election, and also by the person named therein as a candidate in token of his assent to being so named.
