NELSON POTATOES.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —My attention has been directed to some snarling remarks in the Wellington Evening Post of May 18, about a potato which I sent to the Colonist ofiice, Nelson. The potato was described as a moderate specimen, weighing 3slbs.. (misprinted Few persons would expect a moderate potato to weigh much more. I was not on the ground five minutes, or I might have selected plenty larger, and perhaps some big enough to satisfy the capacious appetite of the Editor of the Post (for monsters).— X am, &c.. Spud. Hillside, Nelson, May 27.
