SPITTAL v. SPITTAL.

TO THE EDITOR., bjp' Sir,—ln your brief account of this case you state — " This was a motion for a decree nisi for judicial separation, on the ground of adultery. The case was heard in the Supreme Court at Nelson, and a verdict found in favor of the petitioner." On the contrary, the proceeding was for a dissolution of marriage. It was a hearing before the Full Court of the petition, and evidence, partly oral and partly on affidavit, in support of it. There was no trial at Nelson, no jury, and no verdict. The Court, upon the hearing, granted' the decree nisi. —Yours, &c, Hart & Buckley, Petitioner's Agent. Wellington, May 20.
