Winds prevailed from N.W, and S.E., frequently changing; strong on Cth, 12th, and 22nd, N.W. High barometer on Bth, 30*547, weather wet and cold from 5.8.. and strong at times ; on the 9th it reached 30*767; the highest reading yet recorded ; fine and bright after rain and pleasant; barometer fell during day slowly.
