Mr. J. H. Wallace reports the following business at his monthly stock sale at the Hutt market yesterday, May s:—Horses, useful hacks, £3 to £l2 ; draught horses, £l4 to £25 ; cows, £2 10s. to £5 10s. A very limited quantity of stock offered for sale. BY TELEGRAPH. HOKITIKA, Wednesday, sixty-five head of cattle were yarded. Beef averaged 375. Od. per 1001 b. No sheep were penned.
