WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on WEDNESDAY, the 21st April, 1875, for the Construction of the above. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside “ Tender for Purakanui Contract of the Dunedin and Moeraki Railway.” Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington and Dunedin. Telegraphic Tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any telegraph office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tender’s in due form are lodged at the office of a District or Resident Engineer by the above hour - . Public Works Office, AVellington, 22nd March, 1875. TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on WEDNESDAY, 28th April, 1875, for the above Contract, the length being about 8 miles 30’55 chains. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside, “ Tender for Brunswick Contract.” Plans and specifications may be seen at this Office, and at the Public Works Offices at Wanganui and Foxton. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will he received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer’s Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some Bank in the town where the tender is lodged ; such cheque to be specially marked by a Banker as good for twenty-one days, and to he in favor of “ The ReceiverGeneral’s Deposit Account only,”—and not to bearer or order. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily Ije accepted ; and all tenders must he sent in on a proper printed form, which may he had on application at the offices above specified. By command. WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on SATURDAY, Ist May, 1875, for the COMPLETION of all the unfinished WORK on the above contract. They must bo addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public AVorks, AVellington, and marked outside “Tender for Completion of Glenore Contract.” Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works Office, Dunedin, and all information required may be obtained from the District Engineer. Telegraphic tender's, similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented, at any telegraph office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a district or resident engineer’s office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some bank in the town where the tender is lodged ; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to he in favor of the Receiver General’s deposit account only, and not to bearer or order.
