Vl7 HERE AS by the Land Regulations VV now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all reserves for the sites of townsliips, or suburban lands for the sites of agricultural and small farm settlements, or for any other purpose of public advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment, shall be determined by the Superintendent, who shall notify the same by proclamation wherein the object shall be specified for which any reserve shall be made. And whereas it would be of public advantage if a certain section of land in the township of Carnarvon, in the Manawatu district, was set apart for a Signal Station: Now therefore I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that Section No. 332 in the township of Carnarvon, in the Manawatu district, containing four hundred and seven acres, more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart for a Signal Station. Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this Sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
