DEATHS.

Stuart. —On the 14th instant, Elise Noralx, the infant daughter of David T. Stuart. Taraiti Te Marotoa, a Native woman of Taupo. She was struck dead by lightning on the 12th of January, 1875, near Tongariro Creek, as she was proceeding with her children to join hev husband, who had preceded her to Hautu, iter clothes were set on fire by the lightning. It appears she had a presentiment of evil, as on the previoui night she suddenly rose from her bed and kissed her husband, leading him to imagine from her m&nner that something dreadful was going to happen, either to him or to herself. When questioned by those present, she made no answer.
