GEORGE BEAVEN has been favored with instructions from Mr. Robert SIGNAL (the original founder of the township) to sell Br Public Auction, AT MART ON, ON TUESDAY, 30lh MARC H, At 2 o’clock, The Balance op HIS VALUABLE ESTATE, WHICH completes the TOWN OF MAR T 0 N TO THE OUTER BOUNDARIES. It has been surveyed and to continuation of main and other streets, and comprises NINETY -TWO SECTIONS, Varying in size from quarter to half an acre, a great many of which are well situated for business sites, and the remainder, from their elevated position, are adapted for villa residences. Indeed, it may fairly be said to form the cream of the township, as its recent rapid progress will go to prove. It is bounded by the outer line of road, which is partly formed, and by the main street. There are SEVEN most comfortably finished DWELLING-HOUSES (built of totara), varying from four to seven rooms in size, and most of them perfectly new. There is also on one section, in addition to a house, a very large and commodious STABLE, iron-roofed, with loft sufficiently extensive to contain several tons of hay, with harness and cornroom. The largest house is at present occupied by Mr. Signal, and the whole of the others, with the stables, are let to good tenants at fair rentals. There is on the property a splendid underground brick and cemented CISTERN, containing about 5000 gallons, with force-pump complete. TITLE—CROWN GRANT. TERMS MOST LIBERAL—Part CASH, and Balance approved endorsed acceptances. LUNCH PROVIDED. Plans can be seen at either the Town or Marton Store of the Auctioneer. Note. —Capitalists or Investors could not do better than secure a few sections, it being the last opportunity that can present itself for such investment, as the position is so exceptional that it must ever remain a most important part of the town, and any one with sufficient enterprise to erect a number of cottages would find them let immediately. REMEMBER THE DATE ! MARCH 30th, AT TWO O'CLOCK. SPLENDID INVESTMENT.' /"N EORGE BEAVAN has received instnicKjr tions from Mr. G. V. Stewaiit to dispose of those Valuable Premises situated opposite the Courthouse at Marton. There is a width of two chains of ground to front street, and two and a half chains depth in Stewartstrcet. The Boarding and Clubhouse contains thirteen rooms, with various outhouses ; stabling, containing eight stalls, with two loose boxes, saddle and harness room. There are two other premises—one let as an office and the other as a butcher’s shop. The present business, which is very good indeed, might be very much extended, and would be done by the present proprietor but for his having engaged in another business, which is the sole reason for disposing of the above. jBSj" Anyone purchasing can also have about an acre or more joining at the back, which runs along Stewart-street, and has a frontage to Morris-street. Terms Extremely Liberal. If not previously disposed of, it will be submitted to public auction, at the GREAT LAND SALE AT MARTON, On the 30th March. The premises are well adapted, with very slight alterations, for a first-class hotel, and, under proper management, a fortune could be made in a short time. Fullest particulars can be had on application to the auctioneer.
