WEDNESDAY, 24th MARCH. PUBLIC SALE, HUTT LAND. . Messrs, bethune and hunter have received' instructions from Alfred Ludlam, Esq. - , to offer for sale by public auction, at their rooms, Custom House-quay, on Wednesday, the 24th March, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon,. 22 allotments of land, varying in size from five to twelve acres, containing 167 acres, being a portion of Mr. Ludlam’s estate, adjoining his house and garden. The whole of the land has been divided into paddocks, and laid down in English grasses, has a large frontage to the Lower Waiwetu-road, and is situated near the Hutt Railway Station. - The property has been recently surveyed by Mr. Briscoe, licensed surveyor under the Laud Transfer Act, 1870, and a plan,, showing the sections to be offered for sale, the present fences, drains, road and river frqntages, and natural shelter afforded by the large amount of planting which has been done, can be seen at Mr. Ludlam’s house at the Hutt, and at the office of the auctioneers, Wellington.
