BAKER’S HIBERNICON.
Tho Odd Follows’ Hall was again filled last night by a highly appreciative •audience. Ihe panorama, of course, was the same, but nearly all tho songs, dances, &c., were new, and were . certainly not leas highly appreciated than those given before. Mr. W. H. Baker sang the now * fusions song, “ Como into the Garden, Maud, Vwith great effect, and afterwards “ You 11 -Remember Me,” which was received with a storm, of applause. Mr. Henry Baker’s new Songs were, “She Stole My Heart Away, and « The Harp That Once Through Tara s Halls. These wera given with ‘ the exquisite taste which characterises Mr. Baker’s singing, and —the latter song especially—evoked not a little feeling bn the part of many who could carry their memories hack to days in “ the fairest isle of the ocean," hut who could not say that even there they ever heard that fine song more beautifully sung. Mr. John Moran was again very funny —just, perhaps, a taste ” too much £0 —a little error that he can easily avoid. He was great lin “ Biddy O’Toole,” and the clog dance ; and, with Mrs* Moran—who has already established herself as a favorite—in “ The Two O’Bonohuea” Mr. Verner provoked much mirth by his version of “ Snyder’s Butch Party,” and, by special request emanating from the audience, repeated both “The Wellington Policeman, and Xne German Band.” We regret that Mrs. Baker waa unable to appear, in consequence of a sharp attack of illness, from which, at a late hour last night, she was still a sufferer. We learn with pleasure that several members of the company have received valuable souvenirs of their visit to Wellington from warm-hearted Irish residents in town and province, in recognition of the pleasant recollections the panorama, and especially Mr. Henry Bakers national songs, have brought up at the antipodes of Ireland.
