The mains will be charged at full pressure thrice daily, viz., from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., 1 p.m. to 3 pun., and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Heavy penalties are recoverable and will be enforced for allowing water to run to waste or unlawful use thereof. Notice is hereby given that the Lease for a period of one year, to commence on the 9th day of February next, will be put up to public auction on the Wharf, at 12 o’clock at noon, on MONDAY, the Ist day of FEBRUARY next, First, of the Tolls to be Levied on the Wharf Second, of the Sheds on the Wharf, the Bonded Store, and the Steam Hoists, and of the Tolls to be taken for their use. The City Council of Auckland are prepared to receive TENDERS for the whole of the Plant and Works connected and requisite for a WATER SUPPLY for the CITY, comprising about—Three and one quarter miles of Supply Mains, and fourteen and three quarter miles of Pipes for City Reticulation Works, Sluice Yalves, Hydrants, two High-pressure Compound Beam Engines, with Double-acting Pumps, four Boilers, Covered Reservoirs, Engineer and Keeper’s Houses, together with all necessary Works connected therewith. Drawings may be inspected, tracings and specification, forms of tender, and general conditions obtained, on and after FRIDAY, the 23rd day of October, 1874, by payment of Three Guineas, on application at the City Council Chambers, Queen-street, or at the Town Clerk’s Offices, in Melbourne, Sydney, Dunedin, Wellington, and. Christchurch. Sealed tenders addressed to the Mayor, and endorsed “Tenders for Auckland Waterworks,” are to be delivered at these offices on or before Noon of MONDAY, the 22nd day of March 1875. In the matter of the 11th and 12th Vic., chap. 68, and in the matter of the distributive shares of John Scott Dobbin, Elizabeth Anne Ryan, otherwise Dobbin, Abraham Dobbin, junior, Fanny Jane Jones Dobbin, William Dobbin and Thomas Dobbin, junior, of and in the personal estate and effects of ABRAHAM DOBBIN, late of Sligo, in the County of Sligo, Merchant, deceased. TO JOHN SCOTT DOBBIN and all other the children of THOMAS DOBBIN, formerly of Sligo, in the County of Sligo, in Ireland, deceased, and all whom it may concern. Abraham Dobbin, late of Sligo, in the County of Sligo, merchant, died on the 15th day of January, 1870, intestate and without issue, leaving amongst other next of kin the children of Thomas Dobbin, a deceased brother him surviving. Letters of administration of the personal estate of the said Abraham Dobbin were granted to his widow, Magdaline Dobbin, sines deceased, on the 19th of February, 1870, the distributive shave of said personal estate, to which the children of said Thomas Dobbin (who are believed to be living in Australia or New Zealand) are entitled has been lodged in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, under the provisions of the Trustee Belief Act, on the 28th day of October, 1874. Any person claiming to be entitled to any portion of said distributive share as one of the children of said Thomas Dobbin, can, on forwarding a statement of their rights, obtain particulars from Josiah Cochran Daws, No. 9 Suffolk-street, Dublin and Sligo, the solicitor of the party lodging said share in Court.
