BY TELElltt/t/'H. AUCKLAND, Saturday. Arrived : Kenilwortb, from Samoa ; Warwick, from London, with 2C3 immigrants—there were four deaths ; Ayr, barque, from Nelson. LYTTELTON. Saturday. Arx'Ted: "Wolverine, from Hobar'oi; Albion, from Auckland ; Waitangi, from Auckland. The fine steamer Plicebe. Captain Worsp, anived at S o'clock yesterday morning from Picton. She left the bluff anchorage, near Manukau bar, at 5.15 p.m. on Thursday last, arriving at Taranaki at 12.30 p:m. the following day : left Taranaki after a couple of hours' stay, arriving at Nelson at 8.45 on Saturlay morning last. Shipped 40 tons cargo, and left for Picton, having remained but an hour and a quarter in Kelson : arrived at Picton at 7.80 p.m., leaving again at 8.15 p.m., and made fast to the Wellington wharf as stated. Strong head winds and sea wero experienced from the Manukau to Nelson, thence to Wellington light northerly winds and fine weather. The steamer Bangatira, Captain Griffiths, arrived from Poverty Bay and Napier at 5 o'clock on Saturday evening last. N.W. winds were experienced during the run down. The ship Langstone will haul from the wharf into the stream to-day. She will clear at the Customs, and sail for Lyttelton to-morrow, where she will load for London. The barque Jung Frau having shipped all her crew, will get away for Auckland to-day. She will there load produce for London. The barque Camille is still lying in the fairway. She will doubtless get away for Newcastle to-day. Notwithstanding the heavy N.N.E. wind which prevailed yesterday, the fine ketch Falcon succeeded in beating to an anchorage off the wharf shortly after four o'clock in the afternoon. Anr.ITAL OF THE SHIP MICIIAKL ANOEI.O. FHOM London. —The fine ship Michael Angelo, 1174 tons, arrive! in the Bay on Thursday evening, after a quick passage of eighty-one days from the Downs. Her passengers consiit of a number of Volunteer instructors who have come'out to serve the Government, and 214 Government immigrants. Several children were born on the voyage, and eight deaths occurred, viz. : —Captain Mackenzie Luckie, three sailors, one adult passenger, and three children One of the sailors, Wm. Henry, fell overboard on December 22nd, and was drowned. On Monday last, the ISth instant, Captain Luckie was found dead in his cabin, the cause of death being disease of the heart. He was apparently quite well an hour or two previously. The other two seamen and the children died from natural causes. The only disease that has broken out on the voyage was measles, but the last person who suffered from the complaint became convalescent on January 10th, and there is no sickness on board now. The ship will re towed in by the Charles Edward this morning. The remains of the late Captain Luckie will be interred in the New Cemetery this afternoon. — Nelson Colonist, January 23.
